Frispel

Agneta Hellström, Göran Månsson and Claudia Müller: Three colourful musicians on the Swedish music scene who each puts her/his own personal stamp on the group's innovative interpretations of medieval and Nordic folk music.

Frispel has completed several national and Baltic region tours and all three members have performed on radio and TV broadcasts in different constellations and appear on a number of CD recordings.

Using medieval music as its basic ingredient, Frispel adds earthy European folk, Nordic melancholia and a touch of eastern spice. With a huge array of musical instruments at its disposal (flutes, recorders, percussion, didgeridoo, ocarinas, Swedish folk flutes, Jew’s harp to name just a few) the group delivers a musical experience that is unique in its breadth.
